Why to create your own natural skincare products?

For the last 6 years I've suffered of skin problems. First it was only in the summer and now it's all year round. That's why I decided to start producing my own skin products. I'm planning to start with soap, since normals shower gel and hand soap leave my skin really dry and cracked. I want to also try dry shampoo since in the summer my skin problems extend to my scalp. Lip balm and lotion are also in my list of things to try.

So... why to make your own skin products? Basically you can find the best combination, the one that really works for you. Through trial and error you can design a product that help you as you may need to. Another reason, and honestly, this one is my favorites, you know exactly what you put in the soap or lotion, which means there are no harmful conservants, or those ingredients that you can barely pronounce. With some research you can choose what's best for your skin. The process of cfreating soap and skin products is creative and fun.
