What am I up to these days?

A few months have passed and life stuff seems to be always getting on the way of enjoying my hobbies. I have been producing the basics I use on my everyday life and have settled on some products I now feel can’t live without.

I don’t have a complex routine because my skin is quite healthy. For my hair I do feel I need to add something else because I am still not completely happy with it…

Since I have also been diagnosed with allergies, and still not sure what causes them but definitely something easily found in detergents and cosmetics, I have settle on a routine of products I make and I know are not causing any reactions.

Face:

I have copied an anti-age serum from Lola’s website and have been using it with lovely results. I put it on in the evening after washing my face and it leaves my face so soft and tight that I have made it part of my routine. I do tend to use the multivitamin face cream I created afterwards and also in the mornings. I am not a big make up lover, but I do use this face cream as primer since it makes the application of foundation much easier and even.

I have also continued religiously to make my face washer which I use twice a day in the morning and in the evening. It’s great also as a make up remover, though I use something stronger for my eyes if I’d decide to go a bit over than normal. It leaves the skin feeling really clean, takes away even waterproof mascara and feels ready for tonic or face cream.

Hair:

I have continued to make Lola’s conditioning shampoo. Sometimes it looks better than others, but the result is good. I used a normal shampoo I still had the other day to feel the difference and was surprised because basically I didn’t like it! Left my hair feeling dry even under the hose!

I still make my super amazing conditioner and have settled on that as my only conditioner. Having thick hair I find it the best option and use quite a bit of it under the shower.

I keep on making my leave-in conditioner (not rose anymore, but still same base recipe). I use it especially in the mornings if I am not washing my hair and need it to be more manageable. Sometimes it is impossible to comb and a bit of this product makes it easy to do so. I have also notices that it reduces frizz and maybe even helps if I am planning to straighten it. Doesn’t seem to be the best solution if I want natural waves, but we’ll figure something out for that later.

Body:

I still have some creams I made a while ago and I am using them with no problems, especially a summer body lotion I like to use on legs and arms during the winter. I am not a fan of heavy creams and I prefer using them throughout the day instead. I do feel now that it’s starting to be really cold a more moisturizing cream could be useful.

I regularly use my dragon blood hand cream, especially now in the winter and after having some allergic reactions.
