An obvious thought once you start making your own soap is to stop buying expensive and chemical products also to do laundry. So, this is my first go at a landry soap, I'm doing a super small batch since I only want a bar or two and I'm doing it exclusively with coconut oil, which means, for what I have heard, that my bar will be hard and cleansing without much of a lather (since I am superfatting at 1%). In the soapmaking world seems to be recommended to use coconut oil up to 30% since more could actually be damaging for your skin.

Oh, I found a recipe for hot process and without much doubt I jumped to it. Big mistake. The final product seems ok, but never turned into glicerin, and hoenstly ended up making a mess, wasn't properly informed to do it this way. Gonna stick to cold process for now.
I'll show you the final process, seems like hard coconut oil, I did a zap test (which I had never done before) and the soap seems ok, except that it's not hard!
*Update: I'm using this soap to soak dirty clothes before I put them into the washing machine. Boyfriend likes it cause it's very cleansing and immediately soaps the water, a lovely "cleaning effect" for sure!
